The historic architecture adds a unique charm.
Our experience was disappointing due to inadequate attention to our needs. The bathroom door in our family room didn't close properly, creating a lack of privacy, which was especially frustrating with children. we found the noise from the busy street quite disruptive at night, making it difficult to sleep.

charming, charming, charming
I had an enchanting stay in a Deluxe Double Room with a stunning four-poster bed, which added an exquisite touch of luxury. The extensive breakfast selection features a traditional Irish breakfast made fresh to order, leaving me completely satisfied each morning. The on-site tapas restaurant served delightful dishes like garlic mushrooms, which made dining incredibly convenient and enjoyable.

Great food and a comfortable stay!
I enjoyed a night in a family room that was spotlessly clean and quite cozy. The highlight was definitely the dinner at the tapas restaurant, where the food was exceptional and the wine selection impressive. Martin and the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the street noise could be a bit disruptive at times.

This place was perfect for our family, especially with a young baby in tow. The family room was cozy, and we loved the breakfast that filled us up for our busy day ahead. Plus, the nearby tapas restaurant next door was a fantastic bonus!
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the guest house provided a few more amenities for families.

Charming and inviting atmosphere, enhancing the stay with clean and comfortable rooms. The tapas restaurant offered a delightful beef dish that showcased quality ingredients, and breakfast was equally impressive. the proximity to a busy roadway created some noise interruptions, and the restaurant wasn't open the entire duration of my visit, which limited dining options. Despite this, the service was attentive and professional throughout the experience.

Staying at Townsend House was a delightful experience. The stunning Georgian townhouse featured period decor and was spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable environment for my work trip. The noise from the roadway was somewhat disruptive.
